At Solar Car Roof Light, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward refund and return process.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item(s) to initiate a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team at support@solarcarrooflight.com within the 30-day return window.
- Provide your order number and a brief explanation of why you wish to return the item.
- Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to send your item back.
- Please do not send your item back without an RMA number, as it may delay or prevent your refund.
3. Condition of Returned Items
For a full refund, items must be returned:
- Unused and in their original, resalable condition.
- In their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and promotional materials.
- With all original tags and labels attached.
Items returned in a used, damaged, or altered condition may be subject to a partial refund or refusal of refund.
4. Refund Method and Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that it may take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
5. Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items (if applicable)
- Clearance or final sale items (unless defective)
- Items that have been personalized or custom-made
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at support@solarcarrooflight.com within 7 days of delivery. To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage or defect
- Photographs or videos clearly showing the issue
Upon verification, we will offer you a free replacement or a full refund, including any original shipping costs. We will also cover the return shipping costs for damaged or defective items.
8. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@solarcarrooflight.com.
If you wish to exchange an item for a different product, you will need to return the original item for a refund (following the standard return process) and then place a new order for the desired item.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
